KRATOM CULTURE MAGAZINE

As the founder and publisher of Kratom Culture magazine, I worked with a small team of people for four years to bring the world’s first digital magazine dedicated to kratom advocacy and the promotion of legislation by the American Kratom Association. My responsibilities were to act as the Creative Director, Sales Manager, Social Media manager and strategist, Content Strategist, Copyeditor, Photographer and Brand Strategist. In other words, I did it all. With only two other writers and one social media content producer, we published ten issues in three and a half years from January 2019 to June 2022. 

I designed the cover art, curated the photography as well as did the photo shoots for many of our advertiser’s campaigns. I designed the ads as well for a majority of our advertisers. I created a content strategy for our blog and a social media strategy for our Facebook page which has over 7k followers.
